Pak Army Medical Colleges Admissions

Students can join AMC in three different ways. All Pakistani students can apply for Army Medical College Admission. AMC Admission criteria may differ for females and Male but the joining procedure is the same for both. It’s necessary that Students fulfill the joining criteria.

You can join Army Medical colleges by three methods:

• Medical Cadet (MC)  Only Male Candidates Can Apply 
• NUMS Cadet (NC)    Male and Female Candidates Can Apply
• Paying Cadet  (PC)  Army Family Male and Female Candidates Can Apply

    

1-Medical Cadet MC Admission Procedure:

    

                                              Lucky people will become Medical Cadet. A great opportunity for students to done MBBS/BDS in Army medical college and join Pakistan Army as a regular commissioned officer. In other words fully funded MBBS/BDS Degree with 100% secure future.

• Only male candidates can apply for medical cadet MC
• Female candidates can’t apply for medical cadet MC

Registration Procedure For Medical Cadet

Army Medical Cadet registration opens once in a year and students can done registration online at official website of Pakistan army. Complete joining procedure take place in 4 steps.

Army Medical Cadet Course Apply procedure:

To get Admission in Army medical college through Medical cadet course follow this procedure.

• Online registration at joinpakarmy.gov.pk (Medical cadet registration date 2021)
• Initial written/Intelligence Test (Medical Cadet Test)
• Pak Army Medical Test
• Physical Test (Pakistan Army physical Test)
• Interview (GHQ Board interview)

A candidate has to clear the above-mentioned steps for the further selection procedure. All candidates who clear the above-mentioned steps are not selected for MBBS/BDS in Army Medical College. Only short-listed candidates will avail of this facility.

Not All candidates get admission in MBBS or BDS program. Army medical college Admission 2021 depends upon final merit list.

• High merit list candidates join MBBS program
• 2nd merit list candidates join BDS program

Medical cadets have to take part in any MDCAT Entry Test. He can Apply for both National MDCAT and NUMS MDCAT. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Age Should be 17-21 years
• Gender: Only Male Candidates can Apply
• Marital Status: Unmarried/Single
• Nationality: Pakistani Citizen
• Education: F.sc (Pre-medical)or equivalent with minimum 70% marks
• Minimum Height: 5′-4″ (162.5 cm)
• Weight: As per  BMI (Body Mass Index)

Medical Cadet Final Merit List

final merit list of Medical cadet is based on overall progress in the Medical Cadet test, Interview and Entry Test (NUMS MDCAT or National MDCAT)

candidates can submit their NUMS MDCAT Result or National MDCAT Result. If a candidate gets a high percentage in NUMS MDCAT then he should have to inter NUMS MDCAT result in the Medical Cadet final admission form. If the percentage of National MDCAT is greater than NUMS then inter NUMS results in the Admission Form.

2-NUMS Cadet (NC) Admission procedure

Students who join Army medical college through NUMS MDCAT Entry Test are called NUMS cadets. NUMS Entry Test is conducted by the National University of Medical sciences for Best Students selection. Male/Female, civilian/Army family can apply for NUMS Cadet Admission.

NUMS Entry Test

NUMS Entry Test registration open once in a year. This year NUMS Registration 2021 will start on 15 October 2021. Mostly registration of NUMS MDCAT start in June-July and NUMS Test conduct in August-September. Last year due to the Pandemic situation of COVID-19 registration and Entry Test delay.

Students who done F.Sc / A’Level (with Biology) can apply for this test. Students who are waiting for 2nd-year results can also apply for NUMS Entry Test 2021. NUMS Registration start date will be announced soon. Students can apply online for NUMS Entry Test.

Students can check their names in NUMS Test final merit list. Aggregate is the combination of

10% Matriculation
40% F.sc (Pre-medical)
50% NUMS Entry Test

If your name is in nums merit list 2021. Be ready for travel to Army medical college Rawalpindi. There will be no Medical Test or Interview for NUMS Cadet MC.

Army Medical College Admission fee is different for Medical Cadet, NUMS Cadet, and Paying Cadet. Lucky students are those who selected as Medical cadets. There is no fee for the medical cadets.

Important Note:

                     Medical cadets and paying cadets are offered job by army as commisioned officer at the post of captain doctor after completion of studies, while on the other hand nums cadets are not offered this oppurtunity. 

3-Paying Cadet (PC) Admission procedure

Only Army Brat can apply for Paying Cadets Admission. Armed forces Servant, no matter at which rank they are serving. Their children can get Admission in Paying Cadet. They will Get Admission in NUST, NUMS, UET on a merit basis. After completing MBBS/BDS they have to serve the Pakistan Army for a Minimum of three Years.

They deposit their full fee and the half fee is refunded. Candidates with Army backgrounds have the maximum seats as compare to other forces. Children of martyred have maximum chances of Admission. After MBBS/BDS These cadets wear Army uniforms and Join As Captain Doctor.

PC Admission Procedure

Students (Army Background) have to apply for NUST & NUMS entry test. Entry test in necessary, Students can’t apply without entry test. If you want to apply for Medical Paying Cadet (PC), you take NUMS Entry Test.

And if you want to apply for the engineering Paying Cadet (PC), you have to take NUST Engineering Test. 

• NUST Engineering Test: F.sc (Pre-Engineering) or Equivalent qualification with Math as a major subject.
• NUMS Medical Test: F.sc (Pre-medical) or Equivalent qualification with Biology as a major subject.

Important:-

• Engineering cadets must submit the paying cadet form before 7th July to GHQ (date may change each year)
• Medical cadets must submit the paying cadet form before 31st August to GHQ ( date may change each year)
